Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement activty from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Friday included:

Wednesdsay, April 24

„ Hopkins County Communications operators answered 211 non-emergency calls and 37 emergency calls. Deputies filed one offense, answered 52 calls for service, conducted one inmate transfer between facilities and made seven traffic stops.

„ Deputies responded to a report of a missing person/runaway at a Como residence at 3:51 p.m. The matter was resolved when the person returned home at 6:07 p.m.

„ Vanessa Nichole Edison, 38, of Nacogdoches was transported to Hopkins County jail on a warrant for forgery of a financial instrument.

„ Sulphur Springs Police responded at 10:43 a.m. on Fuller Street in reference to a disturbance complaint. A records check using Richard Alan Barnett’s ID information revealed two Fannin County warrants. The 43-year-old Ladonia man was taken into custody on criminal mischief and terroristic threat warrants. Bond was recommended to be set at $10,000 per misdemeanor charge, according to arrest reports.

„ A 19-year-old man is alleged to have made a terroristic threat to a 39-yearold man, police reports stated.

Thursday, April 25

„ Hopkins County Communications operators answered 219 non-emergency calls and 40 emergency calls. Deputies filed two offenses, answered 59 calls for service, conducted four inmate transfers between facilities and made seven traffic stops.

„ Hopkins County Fire responded to a reported crash on northbound State Highway 19 south of County Road 4795 at 1:18 a.m. A report was made and HCFD cleared at 2:13 a.m.

„ Bobby John Dixon, Jr., 40, of Sulphur Springs was arrested at the Hopkins County Courtroom at 9:12 a.m. for violating probation on a charge of possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 1/1B controlled substance.

„ Carrie Elizabeth Vaughan, 51, of Sulphur Springs was transported to the Hopkin County jail from the Hunt County jail on a Hopkins County warrant for violating probation on a charge of possession of less than 1 ounce of a Penalty Group 1/1B controlled substance. She also had a Rockwall County warrant for manufacture or delivery of 4 or more but less than 200 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance with a motion to adjudicate.

„ Jarvis LaMont Singletary, 53, was transported from the Dallas County jail to Hopkins County on two felony warrants for bail jumping and failure to appear, as well as bond forfeiture on a fraudulent use or possession of identifying information charge.

„ Debris was reported on eastbound Interstate 30 near the 135 mile marker at 12:22 p.m. The call was cleared at 12:45 p.m.

„ Wendy Ann Wilder, 46, of Sulphur Springs was arrested at an Interstate 30 business on a Hopkins County warrant for possession of a Penalty Group 1/1B controlled substance.

„ Christopher Allen Williams, 37, of Wills Point was transported from the Kaufman County jail to the Hopkins County jail on a warrant for violating probation on a possession of a controlled substance. charge.

„ Hopkins County Communications operators answered 166 non-emergency calls and 21 emergency calls. Deputies answered 64 calls for service, conducted one inmate transfer between facilities and made 26 traffic stops.
