Larry Kirk Barney

Graveside services for Larry Kirk Barney, 65, of Sulphur Springs, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at North Hopkins Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.

Larry passed away March 18, 2021 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 2, 1955 in Shreveport, La., the son of Lawrence Kirk Barney and Ruby Marie Milligan Barney. He married Lorraine Pace Oct. 28, 1999 in Sulphur Springs. He attended Sulphur Springs ISD and later worked as a service manger at Advantage Copy Systems for 30 years. He was a professional musician for many years, was lead guitarist for All Fingers Band and toured professionally for many years. He loved animals, was an excellent cook and enjoyed making Cajun specialties. He was also known as an excellent marksman.

Larry is survived by wife, Lorraine Pace of Sulphur Springs, and daughter, Amanda Marie Barney Martin and husband Cory of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
