Both enjoyed stellar senior seasons
After a successful season, the Sulphur Springs Wildcats soccer program recently had two more players earn recognition. Two seniors, Garrett Robinson and Brandon Tavera, both earned honors from the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO).
Robinson would earn second-team All-Region honors for his play on the field from the TASCO. He also earned first-team All-District honors for his play.
Tavera, the Wildcats’ starting goalkeeper, earned honorable mention All-State recognition from the TASCO. In addition to this, he also earned a share of the District 13-4A Goalkeeper of the Year award.
Both players had great season, and now add another accolade to their high school soccer resumes before their upcoming graduation later this month.
