Lady Wildcats go 2-3 in Brownsboro

BROWNSBORO — The Sulphur Springs Lady Wildcats continued their season over the weekend by partaking in the Brownsboro Tournament. There, they competed in five games, winning two.

For their first game, the Lady Wildcats played the Lone Oak Lady Buffaloes. The Lady Wildcats won that game 39-22.

In their next game, the Lady Wildcats squared off against the Edgewood Lady Bulldogs. Edgewood handed Sulphur Springs a 55-47 loss in that game.

The following game pitted the Lady Wildcats against the Kaufman Lady Lions. The Lady Wildcats would edge out the Lady Lions for a 51-47 win.

In their fourth game, the Lady Wildcats played the Bullard Lady Panthers. The Lady Panthers handed the Lady Wildcats a 41-36 loss in that game.

For their last game, the Lady Wildcats took on the Burnet Lady Bulldogs. Their tournament run ended on a sour note with a 33-18 loss.

With these results, the Lady Wildcats are up to 16-7 on the season. They resumed action Tuesday, traveling to Bogata to take on the Rivercrest Lady Rebels.
