SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — Texas A&M University-Commerce men's track and field program members Delan Edwin and Micky Ferdinand have been selected to represent Saint Lucia at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Edwin (Castries, Saint Lucia) has qualified for the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, that will take place at Estadio Nacional Jorge El Mágico González in San Salvador. Ferdinand (Micoud, Saint Lucia) is selected for the high jump, which took place on July 3.
The 100 meter dash semifinals were held July 3 as well, with the finals taking place later that day. The 200 meter dash semifinals take place on July 5, with the finals coming later that day.
