Morgan appointed to Lion Athletics staff

COMMERCE — Texas A&M University-Commerce athletics has appointed Heather Morgan as the director of sponsorship and ticket sales through its partnership with Taymar Sales U.

Morgan arrives to A&M-Commerce following a year-long stint at Arkansas as an account executive, with a focus on group sales. She generated over $400,000 in revenue in her first nine months, which included new season tickets, group sales and single game tickets for nine sports.

As part of its partnership with A&M-Commerce, Taymar Sales U. is tasked with handling sponsorship and multimedia sales along with outbound ticket sales and operations for Lion Athletics.

'I am excited to join A&M-Commerce as the athletic department is growing on all fronts,' said Morgan. 'It is a great community that anyone would be lucky to be a part of. I am looking forward to seeing the department's continued growth and successes.'

Prior to working at Arkansas, Morgan was an account executive with the Memphis Grizzlies, exceeding revenue goals in both seasons that she was in Memphis. She also received the Wolf of Beale award for most revenue generated six times and the Charlie Hustle award for most outbound production eight times.

She has also worked with the Texas Legends, University of Arkansas Razorback Hockey Club, and Learfield IMG College.

A native of Carrollton, Morgan received bachelor's degree in recreation and sport management as well as her master's in recreation and sport management from Arkansas. She resides in Fate with her husband, Konnor Hall, and their two dogs.
